Jessica Simpson is a mega-brand and fashion icon. Tonight, she brought her keen eye for fashion to the latest varition of Project Runway. Her new show is NBC's "Fashion Star" which features Jessica Simpson as a fashion mentor, along with fellow mentors John Varvatos and Nicole Richie. The shows mentors will guide the designers in their creative process but the buyers from the world's biggest retail outlets will decide on the winning look. The panel of buyers represent Saks, Macy's and H&M. Fashion Star, hopes to succeed where others have failed, by creating an intriguing innovation. The shows viewers will be able to purchase the winning looks, in the stores the very next day!
